Just Thought You Should Know

Last night when Ben got off work we all got ready to head out for dinner. I had texted him social capital…? when he was on his way home.

We ordered our usual chicken nachos, Ben also got a fajita chicken taco but the elotes…. WOW I could eat that all day every day.

I told him when we were sat on the patio enjoying our food that it reminded me of our dates we used to have when we first met.

The thing is though, last night was so much better than the early dates. We had Tove with us, Ben drank a Topo Chico since he was driving and I had one canned wine (which got me tipsy 🤪) and we were so much more content. I didn’t feel the NEED to drink more or stay out later because I had everything that matters to me.

I’m so proud of Ben as a father and thankful he’s my partner in all of this. We’ve been through a lot together that’s tested our relationship but never once has he given me a reason to doubt his commitment to me and now us. I love you so much babe and I’m honored to give you the chance to create the most special daddy-daughter bond. I love my dad more than words can say and I just know in my heart that Tove is going to feel the same way about you. Thank you for making us feel loved and for rolling with the punches… quite literally when Tove gets at ya 😛

Modern Advent Calendar

I’m essentially a child in an adult’s body. Actually- take that back it’s more of an adult/child hybrid considering my height. BESIDES THE POINT.

Getting back on track (this is funnier than you realize right now); I’ve started checking Google Santa TRACKER every day. You get it now? HA! Hilarious, so funny I know you forgot to laugh.

I’m assuming it’s technically meant for younger humans but you know what? It gets me in the holiday spirit so IDGAF. Basically Santa’s Village unlocks a new game or exercise each day. PLUS on the 24th the website will track where Santa is all night.

I did not know it’s been around for 13 years, this is the first year I’ve started following it as an advent calendar- but I loves it.

BINGO!

I can’t help but laugh at myself. I’ve been so bored being jobless and whatnot that I’ve started clinging to my brother like a leech. “Where are you going?” “What are you doing?” “Plans for tonight?” “Dinner..?”

So after getting bored with the whole Pokemon Go fad we had to find a new hobby. We tried bingo.

Now i will say it was an experience, there was some good people watching and the best part? I ENJOYED IT!

I love finding new things to do- and now that I have a pink marker for the bingo board I’ll most likely be going back again soon… although I think I might have to try the purple and leave my brother with the blue one he bought.
