I’ve been trying to teach Tove how to wear sunglasses and yesterday I finally got her to wear them for slightly longer than 15 seconds.
Tove wore her sunglasses just long enough for Ben to snap a pic of us! She threw them on the ground the second we started walking though🤪
I bought new shoes for when I go into the office to work and they arrived yesterday.
They’re not the most comfortable so I am breaking them in this AM… working from home in shoes 😝
So not gonna lie, haven’t been wearing heels as much as I used to. Feels safer with Tove when I’m wearing flats and solo with her.
Meet my new mom shoes- the Fila Disruptor 2. Big shout out to Panda for the addition to my collection. Definitely gives me an extra pep in my step 🌝
Tove’s napping in my arms so while I’m stuck on the couch I started surfing the web for shoes.
I came across these from Steve Madden and I’m slightly obsessed. The colors, the utility of the shoe.. yeah this is like the ultimate mom shoe for the spring/summer 😅 (nothing will ever replace my love for heels but utility!)
Snapped these photos of Tove wearing some of the gifts she received at the baby shower.
This onesie was gifted by one of my favorite people I’ve met here in Oklahoma, Sierra. It reads “let kindness bloom” and I love the message.
I hope Tove grows up to be a kind and compassionate human.
The socks and matching bow were gifted from Megan, my high school friend in Dallas.
I love the socks because the bows on top as well as the color markings make them look like little shoes!
They may be one of my favorite gifts we received simply because mamma has a shoe obsession and Tove is obviously not walking yet.
These pictures where taken when we were 8 weeks postpartum and one month was left in the fourth trimester. It’s a good thing she’s as sweet as can be, or else this journey would be a lot more difficult.
The outfit was a gift from my uncle in Sweden 🤗 and it’s the cutest thing. Disney for H&M definitely has my attention. The bloomers are easy to get on and off and honestly jazz up any onsie. Which is lucky for us cause she’s already outgrown the one she’s wearing in these pictures 😭 I told someone the other day that I’ve never wanted time to slow down so much in my entire life and yet I’m SO EXCITED to see who she becomes.
I once heard the shortest horror story ever: sold out.
When my friend showed me this sweater, from Kids of Immigrants, I wanted to grab one immediately but since I slept on it like a dummy they’re no longer available.
Being a child of an immigrant, and an immigrant myself I thought this sweater was really cool. Plus the blue and yellow just screams Sweden as well.
Hopefully they’ll have some equally as rad that I can grab from their next collection.
I caved and purchased some maternity clothes online today from Shein. Never bought anything from them before, and although I’m not an advocate for fast fashion, it felt very fitting to purchase some cheaper items I’ll only be wearing for the next couple of months. Ya girl ain’t made of money.
As I’ve started growing quite quickly now, I realized that summer is fast approaching as well. If I don’t drown in my own sweat hopefully these outfits will help keep me cool… and look cool 😛 (side note: are mom jokes a thing? I feel like that was a mom joke.)
Super excited about the color of this shirt. I also have a sneaking suspicion that I may still be in love with wearing it well after my pregnancy. It also comes in several other colors.
This came as a set and I’m really hoping it’s as comfortable and cute as it looks. The bottoms are also adjustable so they can keep up with little one’s demand regarding space in my belly. I may be living in this get up come June.
I showed this dress to Ben and he started laughing. I asked what was wrong with the dress and he goes “what in the heck is a ruffle cuff?!” I think he thought the name was more entertaining than the thought of me looking cute in the dress. Boys and their priorities 😉
I wasn’t entirely sure about this one after I had placed the order. Definitely not my typical color scheme, but a colleague of mine reminded me how cute it would be with my YRU white platform sneakers. Can’t wait to see it in person!
Now these are the ones I am most excited about! My first thought went directly to the neon biker shorts from American Apparel and how cute those are paired with a bigger tee. Thinking I can do the same with these. My work uniform has been adjusted while I’m pregnant and I wear long leggings at work. I think these will be the first thing I change into when I get home from work on a daily basis though!
I am not made for heat so I am hoping that being pregnant during the summer isn’t too difficult. If anything it gives me a full year to get my beach body back, right? LOL as if that’s going to be my priority.

I have a few items in my closet that either are very lightly used, or haven’t ever been worn. I finally did something about it and decided to put them on a resell website!
I’ve used the Poshmark website before to buy shoes and it was super easy and they came in great condition. I downloaded the app and started uploading a few items. It’s not much so I’ll add more as time goes on, I just didn’t have the motivation to do it all at once.
I haven’t gotten any comments or bids yet, but figured it can’t hurt to try. So if you want to snoop in my closet, go for it!
