I had one of these past weekends off for the first time in what felt like forever! Ben and I went up to our old stomping grounds in OKC to get Tex groomed and while he was getting his pawdicure we decided to tool around for a bit. We had to go to Home Depot to buy wood planks for our bed but of course left the old one at home so we didn’t have any measurements with us- luckily the new Rooted Zen dispensary was just around the corner.
I didn’t expect to be stopping in for my first time so I didn’t take any pictures of their beautiful location. You can check out a sneak peak The Chronic did a few weeks ago here.
I had already been to a Likewise location, but I still got 20% off for being a first time patient at the Rooted Zen dispensary. I’m assuming they had sort of a soft-opening as there weren’t smell jars yet, and we were unable to purchase strains by the gram.
I’ve always enjoyed flower grown by Rooted Zen so we decided to grab an 1/8th ($50). Ben chose the Snowball strain, even though we’ve had it before 😅. It’s a nice relaxing indica leaning hybrid in my opinion. Had that signature Rooted Zen smell to it, with frosty looking buds.
All in all it was a good shopping experience! I won’t be a regular simply because of the location being where it is, BUT if you’re in OK with your med card and you haven’t tried Rooted Zen yet, well you’re missing out.
The weekend at bernie’s I got from @RootedZen is better than the movie ever was. You still haven’t been? When you go tell em I sent you and get 0% off your total purchase but tell em I sent you anyway
